With the clip ons, you could honestly just lift up a piece of hair near the top of your head and clip the extension in no problem. However, these are the tools and steps I use to get a nice and clean install.
Tools Needed:
Comb.
Clips.
Mirror.
A Clip-on Extension.
Steps:
Using the comb and mirror, section off a piece of hair starting from the arch of your eyebrow and back. Clip the hair away, revealing the part.
Clip the extension along the part, make sure the extension is clipped snug on the scalp.
Unclip the hair and cover the clip with it.
Cut excess tinsel to length of hair and style as desired.
(NOTE: When clipping in the tinsel all around the head, make sure to keep the part one straight line from temple to temple. This ensures the tinsel stays the same length when trimmed the first time around!)
